Any use or reliance on content posted by others via the Services is at your own risk. ONLZDOGSYONE does not endorse, support, guarantee, or verify the completeness, accuracy, or reliability of any user-generated content, including opinions, claims, or pet listings. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you may be exposed to content that could be misleading, offensive, or inaccurate. All content is the sole responsibility of the person or entity who posted it.

We do not actively monitor all content, but we reserve the right to remove or restrict content that violates our Terms of Service. This includes, for example:

• False or misleading pet sale listings
• Impersonation or misrepresentation

Your Rights and Grant of Rights in the Content

You retain ownership of all content that you submit, post, or display on or through ONLZDOGSYONE. What’s yours is yours — whether it’s a cute photo of your dog, a listing for a puppy, or a video from your shelter, you own the content you share.

However, by submitting content through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise process your content in connection with operating, improving, and promoting the ONLZDOGSYONE platform. This license applies to all formats and distribution methods, now known or developed in the future.

This includes:

• Displaying your posts in the feed
• Featuring pet photos in promotional material or newsletters
• Translating descriptions for international users
• Formatting your listings to fit our platform’s layout or third-party services

• No compensation will be paid for this use, beyond the benefit of being part of the ONLZDOGSYONE community and platform.

We always aim to respect your content and your rights. We may, however, modify or adapt your content when necessary to ensure proper formatting or delivery across different services, devices, or promotional formats — while keeping the meaning and integrity intact.

By posting content, you confirm that you have the necessary rights, licenses, permissions, and authority to share it, and to grant us the license described above. Your content must not violate copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights unless you are legally entitled to share it.

Please review our Rules and Policies, which are part of this User Agreement. They outline the types of behavior and content that are not allowed on ONLZDOGSYONE. You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.

• Reclaim or modify usernames
• Remove Content at our discretion

We may also suspend accounts or take other appropriate actions if we believe your use of the platform violates these Terms or applicable laws.

Advertising and Information Disclosure

By using ONLZDOGSYONE, you agree that we and our third-party providers may display ads on the platform in connection with your use of the Services, including around Content submitted by you or others.

We also reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information we reasonably believe is necessary to:

Paid and Third-Party Features

If we offer paid features in the future (e.g., promoted listings, premium profile badges, breeder verifications), your use of those features will be subject to additional terms. By purchasing or using such features, you agree to any specific terms attached to them.

If you are a developer or wish to integrate ONLZDOGSYONE with third-party tools or APIs, you must obtain our written permission. Unapproved scraping, reproduction, or distribution of any part of our platform or content is strictly prohibited.

Your Account

To access and use certain features of ONLZDOGSYONE, you will need to create a personal account. You are fully responsible for maintaining the security of your account, including choosing a strong password and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) through an authenticator app or security key.

We are not responsible for any loss, unauthorized access, or damage resulting from your failure to protect your login credentials.

You can control most notifications and communications through your account settings. However, we may still send you important service announcements and administrative messages (e.g., password reset, policy updates). These are considered part of your account and the Services, and you may not be able to opt out of receiving them.

If you add a phone number and later change or deactivate it, you must update your profile to prevent communications from being sent to the wrong person.

Your License to Use the Services

ONLZDOGSYONE grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use the software and Services provided by us, solely for your own use in accordance with these Terms.

This license is:

• Provided for the sole purpose of enabling you to access and enjoy ONLZDOGSYONE as intended
• Revocable at any time if you breach these Terms

Any suggestions, ideas, or feedback you provide are voluntary, and you agree that we are free to use such input to improve the Services without obligation or compensation to you.

Misuse of the Services

You agree not to misuse ONLZDOGSYONE or interfere with its normal operation. This includes avoiding any unauthorized access, manipulation, or technical disruption of the Services. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use or access the platform in any way other than through the official interfaces and instructions we provide
• Bypass or tamper with any technical protections in the software or reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the platform (unless allowed by law)
• Access or attempt to access non-public areas of ONLZDOGSYONE, including our systems or those of our service providers
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the system or breach any security or authentication measures
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to collect data or content from the platform without our prior written permission
• Forge headers or send misleading or false identifying information
• Use the platform to send deceptive, spammy, or malicious content
• Overload, flood, or interfere with the platform’s servers, users, or infrastructure in any way (including by scripting mass content creation or sending viruses)

Any attempt to facilitate or assist others in violating these Terms — for example, by distributing tools that enable spamming or unauthorized access — also constitutes a violation.

Ending These Terms

You may end your agreement with ONLZDOGSYONE at any time by deactivating your account and stopping your use of the Services. If you wish to permanently close your account, please contact us at:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account — and your access to all or part of the platform — if we reasonably believe that:

• You have violated these Terms or our Rules and Policies
• Your account poses legal risk to us or other users
• Your behavior is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive
• Your account has been inactive for a prolonged period
• Continuing to provide Services to you is no longer commercially viable

We’ll attempt to notify you at the email associated with your account or the next time you try to log in, depending on the situation. In some cases, we may terminate access without notice, as permitted by applicable law.

If you believe your account was deactivated or banned in error, you may appeal the decision by contacting our team via support@onlydogszone.com.

Upon termination, your license to use the Services ends. However, certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including those related to Privacy, Content Rights, Misuse, and Legal Responsibility.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Services Are Provided "AS IS"

Your use of ONLZDOGSYONE and any content or services accessed through it is at your own risk. You understand and agree that the Services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ONLZDOGSYONE and its parent company, affiliates, employees, officers, licensors, agents, and partners ("ONLZDOGSYONE Entities") disclaim all warranties—express or implied—including, but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

We do not warrant or guarantee:

• The accuracy, completeness, availability, or reliability of any content or listings
• That the Services will be secure or error-free at all times
• That your experience on the platform will be uninterrupted or meet your expectations
• That data or content will not be lost or deleted

You understand that any pet listings, user profiles, messages, images, or advertisements shared by other users are not verified or endorsed by ONLZDOGSYONE, and you access or rely on them at your own discretion.

No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained through the platform shall create any warranty not explicitly made in these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ONLZDOGSYONE Entities shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses
• Damages arising from the conduct or content of any user or third party
• Unauthorized access to or use of your account, transmissions, or content

This applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, etc.), and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In any case, the total liability of ONLZDOGSYONE Entities for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the greater of $100 USD, or the total amount you have paid to ONLZDOGSYONE, if any, in the last six (6) months before the incident giving rise to the claim.

Liquidated Damages

We take the integrity of our community and the safety of our users seriously. You agree that, to the extent permitted by law, if you violate these Terms — especially through automated abuse, scraping, data mining, or enabling others to do so — you will be liable for liquidated damages.

Specifically, if you access, scrape, or retrieve more than 1,000,000 posts (including ads, pet listings, or replies) within any 24-hour period, you agree to pay ONLZDOGSYONE $10,000 USD per 500,000 posts accessed.

You agree that:

• This is a reasonable estimate of damages
• It is not a penalty
• It does not limit ONLZDOGSYONE from pursuing other legal remedies, including statutory or injunctive relief

Repeated or intentional violations may result in permanent bans, legal action, and/or injunctive relief due to the harm caused to our platform and users.

General Terms

We may update or revise these Terms from time to time. All changes will be forward-looking and not retroactive. The most current version of the Terms will always be available at 🌐 https://onlydogszone.com/terms

When material changes occur, we will do our best to notify you—either through a service update, in-app message, or email (to the address linked to your account). By continuing to use ONLZDOGSYONE after any updates take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement with you, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

All disputes arising from or related to these Terms, the Services, or any content shared by users or third parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Chicago, Illinois. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts and waive any objections based on inconvenient forum.

ONLZDOGSYONE also reserves the right to bring any legal claim or action against you in a competent court in your country of residence, where applicable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you also agree that any claim must be brought within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the dispute. After that time, the claim is permanently barred.

You waive the right to participate in any class action, collective, or representative legal proceeding, to the extent permitted by law.

Severability and Waiver

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will stay in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to do so later.

Language

These Terms may be provided in multiple languages for convenience. In the event of any discrepancies or conflicts between translated versions and the original, the English version shall prevail and serve as the legal reference.
